We believe that God has given the church a great commission to proclaim the Gospel to all nations so that
there might be a great multitude from every nation, tribe, ethnic group, and language group who believe on
the Lord Jesus Christ. As ambassadors of Christ, we must use all available means to go to the nations and not
wait for them to come to us. This includes sharing the Gospel of Christ with those in our own community,
within our state and nation, as well as foreign lands.

Are You Seeking Support for Your Ministry?

All ministries that Waypoint support are expected to:

  • Be aligned with the core beliefs of Waypoint Church (see our statement of beliefs).
  • Be able to articulate how the target ministry exhibits and meets some of the traits listed above. 
  • Provide routine reporting on status, progress, physical, financial, and spiritual needs and uses of Waypoint funding and support.

Waypoint seeks to emphasize our support to missions with the following traits*:

  • Sharing the gospel and adding disciples for the advancement of God's kingdom
  • Affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in America
  • Pastor and or disciple training
  • Supporting persecuted Christians
  • Financial relief for impoverished Christians (for food and other basic needs)
  • Church planting
  • Supported by members of our Church
  • Provides volunteer or missions opportunities
  • Waypoint spiritual and financial support would make a significant difference

*Note that these traits are a guideline to demonstrate Waypoints emphasis. Ministries need not meet each of these traits to be considered.
All requests for ministry support will be review by the Waypoint Missions Committee. The first step in that process is completion of the Ministry Support Application. Contact the Waypoint Missions Committee to request an application
