But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.”
Mark 10:14-15 (ESV)

Growing together.

The Children’s Ministry at Waypoint strive to give all our children a firm understanding of the gospel each and every week. Our amazing volunteers teach the children with a wonderful curriculum called The Gospel Project. The Gospel Project is a program geared specifically for kids and will take them through the entire Bible over the course of their time in the children’s ministry. We believe it is essential to continually feed our children with gospel truth and help them understand what it means to have a relationship with Jesus.

Sunday Experience

Our current structure is the best of both worlds in that we have geared the ministry to allow for family worship and a designated time of age specific instruction. Our children (Pre K-5th Grade) spend the first part of the worship service with their parents participating in corporate worship. This allows our students to experience worship with their families as we sing, pray, and give with them participating. Prior to the sermon we dismiss the children to their age specific classrooms for a time of teaching, fun, and fellowship.

Safety

Waypoint also cares deeply about the safety of your children and we make every effort to insure that they are protected at all times. We have a covenant care program that is a safety and abuse awareness training that is required for anyone participating with students of any age and all our volunteers are background checked. We also have a two adult policy in order to insure that two adults are with your child at all times.
