The Life of the Son

What did Jesus have to do for us to be saved? Most Christians would say that Jesus died for my sins. This is what we learned in Sunday school, and it is, of course, a beautiful truth. Yet there is a bit more to the story. Jesus had to live first. He had to achieve what the first Adam never could. He had to live a perfectly righteous life to be the perfect sacrifice necessary for us to receive salvation. Jesus came to undo all the wrongs of this world caused when Adam fell in the Garden of Eden.
