Why The Resurrection Matters

If I asked, what did Jesus do in order to save you, many would answer, “Christ died for my sins.” Now, this is a correct answer, but it’s incomplete. Yet this is where we end the gospel so many times. Christ died… if this was the end then we would stop with Good Friday; that would be the end of the story. Today we celebrate Easter and the resurrection of Jesus! Jesus came as a baby, lived the perfect life, died the death we deserved, rose from the dead, and finally ascended to the right hand of the Father. That is the good news of Easter and the gospel!
